This area standing chair is the liaison between the area officers and the host committees for districts hosting area functions. These functions are area committee meetings, area workshops and area assemblies. Districts get elected to host an event one or two years out. This chairperson works with the host districts, going over items such as the facility for holding the event and the agenda.
